I tried to play Chalan and Pakad portion from Raaga Shivir – Raag Bhoopali Topic 01_Chapter_01, using :

1. The Ear training Master Class S1.

2. The Introduction to a New and Comprehensive Indian Notation System.

3. Inbuilt media player controls provided within the said topic.

4. the most important, The AFS Blessings.

If you want to continue with the existing Flute, most of the Flute makers have a method of closing the existing thumb hole permanently using bamboo dust and creating a new hole altogether. Also, instead of these experiments, if you feel the Flute maker is rightly understanding you, a new Flute is the best thing.

Generally people don’t order readymade Flute having Thumb-hole. I suggest you visit a nearby Flute maker with your existing bass Flute, discuss together your playing style and resolve the thumb-hole. Its a matter of not more than 15mins.

And in near future, for ordering a new Flute( with thumb hole ) visit a maker in person or courier your…
