Hi
First of all thanks for initiating this.
I believe you are asking about pitch and speed changing tool. Thanks to Ashwin Sir to introducing to us such a great tool. I had just started learning flute. Yet other than my practice, very often i try to find the SWARS and harkatein from the great Maestros performances with the help of this tool ( slowing it down ). Its ” Chrome extension TRANSPOSE ”
Here’s it is:
chromewebstore.google.com
Transpose ▲▼ pitch ▹ speed ▹ loop for videos - Chrome Web Store
Pitch shifter, speed changer and looper for online videos like YouTube. Musician's toolbox for practicing and rehearsing.
It’s work good but tanpura not shifted usually , I checked it with Nityananda Haldipur jis Yaman..
Please limit the use of this tool to western music. Western music uses Pythagorean tuning. Ancient music such as Hindustani and Carnatic use just-intonation / tuning so this tool will sound out of tune.
As I understand it, it is detail agnostic. When we use the extension on Chrome, it gives us the ability to only Globally change pitch and tempo separately. Unlike an auto-tuner plugin which pitch ‘corrects’ the audio, this extension only allows / shifts pitch and time elastically with minimum artefacts. 🙂
